comic page in the works
i've been inking the entire issue of my latest comic in this super deluxe! 9x9 sketchbook.. carrying it around in my backpack incessantly, tempting fate to spill black bean sauce all over the pages (something that actually happened long ago .. *sigh*)
anyway, i love drawing a whole issue in one book -- it just feels like such an accomplishment when it's done. much more fun than a stack of bristol.. but it's also kinduva stupid way to work. it gets dirty as hell, and i tend to scan in batches, so some pages suffer.
anyway! here's an unfinished page.

My friend is down in vegas having fun. I sent him a text message asking how it was. He responded. "awesome, wish you were here." I responded. "you're so gay. "
yeah, we just got back from a trip to boise, idaho, where we ended up in the company of teenage girls a lot (soon bok's cousins), and just about EVERYTHING to them was "so gay" -- sent me right back to highschool, where everything was happy also.
