the other side of american dream ??? This is a great picture that remains me of a photo took by Arthur Rothstein in birmingham, Alabama, in 1937. A big ad says "there's no way like the american way!" while poor wooden dsolated houses can be seen just behind. That picture was ordered by the "Farm security administration" like those of Walker Evans and Dorothea Lange. But that was 70 years ago...
