UH... no insulation on the roof? If I know my PORTLAND, OREGONS that's gonna be SUPER FRIGGIN HOT in the summer and FREEEEEEEEAKIN cold in the winter! (My friend Gabe lived in a similar set up on Morrison St 2 years ago) My advice is to get an AC unit for that window and get a space heater in the fall!
Alec: It's still in the works.. Next weekend it shall be insulated, and hopefully sheetrocked also. (Sheetrocked is one helluva verb. Helluva is one.. uh.. cool adjective.)
Yeah, I guess spring is a good transitional season to be in a rusticated attic.. it's really not bad at all so far. But the summer's gonna be hell, insulation or not.
